Mengutip Business Insider, Kekayaan bersih Bezos telah melonjak US$ 5,9 miliar pada tahun 2020 berdasarkan Bloomberg Billionaires.<\/p>\n<p>Bezos adalah satu-satunya orang di lima besar di Bloomberg&#8217;s Billionaires Index yang tidak kehilangan uang pada 2020 menurut data tersebut. Mayoritas kekayaan Bezos bersumber dari bisnisnya di Amazon yang dirintis dari garasi rumahnya pada 1994. D<\/p>\n<p>Di sisi lain, saat ritel lain berjuang memenuhi kebutuhan dan merumahkan karyawan karena wabah corona, Amazon justru mengalami lonjakan permintaan dan bahkan merekrut 100.000 karyawan baru. Namun, Bezos bukan satu-satunya orang yang meraup untung selama virus corona merajalela.<\/p>\n<p>Menurut Business Insider, kekayaan bersih pendiri sekaligus CEO aplikasi Zoom, Eric Yuan telah meningkat lebih dari US$ 4 miliar tahun ini. Kekayaan Eric bertambah salah satunya karena orang-orang di Amerika Serikat memanfaatkan Zoom untuk bekerja jarak jauh demi mematuhi perintah social distancing selama merebaknya wabah corona.<\/p>\n<p>Sementara itu, berbeda dengan Bezos dan Eric, kekayaan CEO Facebook Mark Zuckerberg merosot di tengah merebaknya corona.
