London, Nawacita<\/strong> – Mikel Arteta mengaku prihatin dengan hukuman yang diterima Manchester City. Manajer Arsenal itu berharap The Citizens diberikan jalan keluar terbaik.<\/p>\n

Manchester City\u00a0dilarang mengikuti kompetisi UEFA hingga dua tahun ke depan. Mereka terbukti bersalah karena memalsukan laporan keuangan dan melanggar aturan finansial UEFA.<\/p>\n

Arteta sendiri tidak asing dengan Manchester City. Pasalnya ia pernah menjadi asisten manajer di sana selama tiga tahun.<\/p>\n

“Saya sudah berkomunikasi dengan Pep Guardiola. Saya prihatin bukan hanya untuknya, tetapi juga semua orang di Manchester City,” kata Arteta seperti dilansir\u00a0Metro.<\/em><\/p>\n

“Tentu saya hanya ingin yang terbaik untuk\u00a0Manchester City. Saya tahu bagaimana mereka bekerja keras dan semoga saja hasilnya positif,” ujar Arteta menambahkan.<\/p>\n

Di sisi lain Arteta juga enggan merespons soal peluang Arsenal ke Liga Champions jika City benar-benar dihukum UEFA.<\/p>\n

“Saya tidak mau memikirkannya. Saya hanya mau City mendapat hal terbaik,” ujar Arteta.<\/p>\n

“Soal City bakal dikurangi poinnya saya juga tidak mau berkomentar dan menebak. Tentu saya terkejut mereka dihukum.”<\/p>\n
