Satu lagi yang penting, sereal harus dimakan bersama susu skim atau rendah lemak jika kamu ingin menjaga berat badan tetap ideal. Dokter dan pakar kesehatan Dr Shikha Sharma memberi petunjuk jenis-jenis sereal yang sehat untuk dikonsumsi dan tak bikin gemuk, seperti yang dikutip dari Times of India.<\/p>\n<p><strong>1. Cornflake<br \/>\n<\/strong><br \/>\nKeripik jagung mengandung karbohidrat, zat besi dan vitamin B kompleks. Cocok dikonsumsi anak-anak maupun orang dewasa. Pilih cornflake yang tidak diberi pemanis. Bila ingin rasa yang lebih enak, kamu bisa menambahkan potongan pisang, stroberi atau taburan kismis. Selalu perhatikan jumlah kalori dan angka kecukupan gizi pada label kemasan untuk mencegah kamu makan berlebihan.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2. Wheat Flake<br \/>\n<\/strong><br \/>\nWheat flake merupakan beragam jenis serealia yang dipadatkan sehingga membentuk kepingan-kepingan. Bentuknya mirip cornflake namun dengan tekstur yang lebih padat dan renyah. Biasa disajikan dengan susu rendah lemak dan buah kering.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3. Oatmeal<br \/>\n<\/strong><br \/>\nSemangkuk bubur oat di pagi hari baik untuk orang yang memiliki kolesterol tinggi dan diabetes. Asalkan kamu tidak menambahkan gula pasir saat membuatnya. Kandungan serat yang tinggi pada oat mampu menyeimbangkan gula darah dan membantu meningkatkan mood bagi orang yang rentan mengalami stres. Sebaiknya konsumsi oat yang harus dimasak terlebih dahulu ketimbang instan. Karena serat dan manfaat serealianya masih lebih tinggi.
