Kepala BPS Suhariyanto mengatakan pemerintah perlu membenahi industri pengolahan mengingat sektor ini menyumbang 19,5 persen dari produk domestik bruto (PDB).<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Kuncinya di sana, kalau industri pengolahan bergerak naik, karena\u00a0<em>share<\/em>-nya besar sekali 19,5 persen, ada pergerakan sedikit saja dia bisa menaikkan ekonomi,&#8221; kata Suhariyanto pada Rapat Kerja bersama Komisi XI DPR RI, Rabu (28\/8).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div align=\"center\"><\/div>\n<p>Suhariyanto menjelaskan industri pengolahan juga menyerap tenaga kerja hampir 14 persen. Sehingga, perlambatan pada sektor ini akan berpengaruh besar pada pertumbuhan ekonomi.<\/p>\n<p>Dilihat sampai kuartal II 2019, BPS menilai industri yang bergerak positif adalah sektor tekstil dan pakaian jadi serta industri kertas dan barang dari kertas. Sebaliknya, industri karet bergerak negatif. Menurut dia, pemerintah harus bisa melakukan hilirisasi agar menciptakan lapangan kerja yang berpengaruh pada peningkatan pendapatan serta daya beli masyarakat.<\/p>\n<p>Suhariyanto menilai pertumbuhan ekonomi sulit dicapai melalui ekspor. Dengan kondisi perekonomian global yang tidak pasti, kinerja pertumbuhan ekspor diasumsikan sebesar 3,7 persen pada 2020.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Untuk menggenjot ekspor dalam jangka pendek dengan perekonomian global yang masih penuh ketidakpastian, akan berat.
