Hal itu disampaikan Wakil Ketua KPK, Laode M Syarif.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Pasti bapak ibu di BUMN banyak bekerja dengan China,\u00a0<em>good corporate governance<\/em>\u00a0di China itu adalah salah satu yang asing bagi mereka. Oleh karena itu, mereka menempati tempat pertama\u00a0<em>fraud improper payment<\/em>. Mereka\u00a0<em>invest\u00a0<\/em>banyak di sini,&#8221; ujar Laode seperti diwartakan\u00a0<em>Antaranews<\/em>, Kamis, 9 Mei 2019.<\/p>\n<p>Syarif pun memberikan contoh seperti perusahaan-perusahaan dari Eropa Barat maupun Amerika Serikat yang memiliki pengawasan ketat dalam berinvestasi.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Kalau China\u00a0<em>invest\u00a0<\/em>di sini\u00a0<em>you have to be very-very carefull<\/em>.\u00a0<em>Safe guard<\/em>\u00a0mereka tidak seketat seperti perusahaan dari Eropa Barat atau dari Amerika Serikat,&#8221; ucap dia.<\/p>\n<div id=\"lastread\"><\/div>\n<p>Oleh karena itu lanjut Laode, untuk menerima investasi dari China, ia menyatakan bahwa syaratnya harus sesuai regulasi yang berlaku di Indonesia dan juga manajemen antisuap harus tetap dijalankan.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Dari mana pun investornya, kita harus terbuka selama mereka betul-betul menjalankan investasi dengan tidak menyuap, melakukannya dengan bersih, transparan,&#8221; tuturnya.<\/p>\n<p>Lebih lanjut, ia pun mencontohkan jika di Amerika Serikat maupun negara-negara di Benua Eropa dapat menghukum warganya jika terbukti menyuap pejabat negara lain.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Karena di negara Eropa atau Amerika Serikat kalau mereka menyuap pejabat negara asing itu mereka bisa dihukum di negaranya, kalau kita undang-undangnya belum, China belum. Kalau Inggris ada UK Bribery Act. Jadi, mereka kalau menyuap\u00a0<em>foreign public official<\/em>\u00a0itu mereka bisa kena, sehingga mereka selalu hati-hati,&#8221; ucap Laode.<\/p>\n<p>Selanjutnya, sambung dia, di negara lain yang mempunyai nilai Indeks Persepsi Korupsi (CPI) tinggi pun lantas tidak hanya menghukum orangnya saja, tetapi juga korporasi yang juga ikut bertanggung jawab dalam kasus korupsi.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Terus apa cukup hanya kita menghukum orangnya? Belajar dari negara lain yang CPI-nya tinggi ternyata perusahaannya juga. Apakah undang-undang kita sudah mengatur itu?
