Pengaruh pola makan tak sehat terhadap kematian dini bahkan lebih besar dari kebiasaan merokok.<\/p>\n<p>Temuan ini terungkap dalam\u00a0<em>The Global Burden of Disease Study<\/em>\u00a0yang dimuat dalam jurnal\u00a0<em>The Lancet<\/em>. Studi yang berlangsung sejak 1990 hingga 2017 di 195 negara ini menujukkan bahwa pola makan yang buruk berkontribusi besar terhadap terjadinya penyakit tidak menular.<\/p>\n<p>Menurut studi ini, pola makan yang buruk bertanggung jawab atas satu dari lima kematian pada orang dewasa pada 2017. Angka ini setara dengan 11 juta kematian ornag dewasa.<\/p>\n<p>Sekitar 10 juta dari 11 juta kematian tersebut disebabkan oleh penyakit kardiovaskular. Sedangkan sisanya merupakan kematian yang disebabkan oleh penyakit tidak menular lain seperti kanker dan diabetes tipe 2.<\/p>\n<p>Negara dengan rasio kematian terkait pola makan tertinggi adalah Uzbekistan. Di negara tersebut, terdapat 892 kematian akibat pola makan tak sehat per 100 ribu kematian.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Studi ini membuktikan apa yang banyak orang pikirkan sleama beberapa tahun, bahwa pola makan yang buruk bertanggungjawab atas lebih banyak kematian dibandingkan faktor risiko lain di dunia,&#8221; terang salah satu peneliti sekaligus direktur dari Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation di University of Washington Dr Christopher JL Murray seperti dilansir\u00a0<em>Medical News Today.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Tim peneliti juga menemukan bahwa kurang mengonsumsi makanan-makanan sehat sama berbahayanya dengan terlalu banyak mengonsumsi makanan tak sehat. Beberapa makanan sehat yang dimaksud adalah sayur dan buah-buahan.<\/p>\n<p>Dari beragam jenis pengaturan pola makan yang ada di dunia, tim peneltii mengungkapkan ada beberapa pengaturan pola makan yang memiliki keterkaitan sangat tinggi dengan kematian.
