Gelaran ini akan berlangsung pada 15-25 Februari 2019 di Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM).<\/p>\n<p>Kegiatan diikuti 29 mahasiswa asing dari lima perguruan tinggi di Jepang, Thailand dan Indonesia. Ada dari Hokkaido University, Kasetsart University, SIIT-THammasat University, Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) dan UGM.<\/p>\n<p>Selama 11 hari, mereka akan mengikuti lokakarya untuk belajar dan berdiskusi tentang isu-isu krusial seperti lingkungan, sumber daya dan populasi. Rektor UGM, Panut Mulyono, mengaku bangga UGM dipercaya sebagai tuan rumah.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Berharap melalui kegiatan ini para mahasiswa dapat bertukar ide dan gagasan, serta menemukan solusi untuk penyelesaian berbagai persoalan yang ada, terutama terkait lingkungan,&#8221; kata Panut, Jumat (15\/2).<\/p>\n<p>PARE Spring School sendiri merupakan sebuah program pendidikan yang didanai Kementerian Pendidikan Jepang. Pelaksanaannya dilakukan Hokkaido University bekerja sama dengan enam perguruan tinggi ASEAN.<\/p>\n<p>Dalam kegiatan itu, para mahasiswa akan mengikuti kuliah umum yang diisi para pakar. Ada yang dari Hokkaido University, ITB, UGM, Chulalongkorn University dan Balai Penyelidikan dan Pengembangan Teknologi Kebencanaan Geologi (BPPTKG).<\/p>\n<p>Selain itu, para peserta akan diajak untuk mengunjungi Goa Bribin di Kabupaten Gunungkidul. Mereka akan secara langsung melihat proyek-proyek pengangkatan air yang ada dari sungai bawah tanah.<\/p>\n<p>Mereka akan pula melakukan kunjungan ke petani-petani Kecamatan Berbah di Kabupaten Sleman, Hutan Mangrove di Kabupaten Kulonprogo.
