Kondisi ini membuat mereka sulit untuk melakukan aktivitas layaknya orang normal, termasuk salah satunya adalah melaksanakan ibadah puasa Ramadhan.<\/p>\n<p>Puasa Ramadhan sebenarnya tetap bisa dilaksanakan oleh mereka yang sudah lanjut usia, dengan syarat kondisi tubuh pasien harus sehat. Mereka yang sudah lanjut usia pun dianjurkan berkonsultasi dulu dengan dokter, sebelum puasa.<\/p>\n<p>Spesialis Penyakit Dalam Divisi Geriatri FKUI\/RSCM  Dr. Noto Dwimartutie, SpPD memiliki beberapa tips bagi mereka yang sudah lanjut usia agar tetap dapat melaksanakan ibadah puasa.<\/p>\n<p>Menjaga pola makan saat sahur dan berbuka<br \/>\nMeski berpuasa, pola makan setiap hari tetap harus teratur dengan jumlah 40 persen kalori saat sahur, 50 persen kalori saat buka puasa atau 10 persen setelah shalat tarawih. Disarankan jangan langsung mengkonsumsi makanan berat saat berbuka, agar kerja lambung tidak berat dan menyebabkan sakit perut.<\/p>\n<p>Penuhi kebutuhan cairan agar tidak dehidrasi<br \/>\nSebaiknya tetap konsumsi cairan 8-10 gelas setiap hari untuk mencegah dehidrasi selama puasa. <\/p>\n<p>Perbanyak konsumsi buah dan sayur<br \/>\nJika perlu, konsumsi jus buah antara waktu berbuka puasa dan sebelum tidur malam.<\/p>\n<p>Hindari konsumsi es<br \/>\nEs hanya akan menghambat rasa kenyang, untuk itu sebaiknya pada saat berpuasa pasien harus menghindarinya.<\/p>\n<p>Batasi makanan yang digoreng atau berlemak<br \/>\nTerutama bagi pasien yang memiliki penyakit degeneratif seperti diabetes, penting untuk menghindari makanan sejenis ini. Lebih dianjurkan untuk mengkonsumsi makanan yang lambat dicerna dan tinggi serat dan selalu memperhatikan komposisi gizi seimbang.<\/p>\n<p>Dianjurkan konsumsi kurma dan pisang saat berbuka<br \/>\nKurma terbukti dapat membantu memulihkan tenaga setelah seharian berpuasa, sebab kurma mengandung gula serat, karbohidrat, kalium dan magnesium yang baik untuk meningkatkan stamina tubuh.
