Jakarta, Nawacita<\/a> – <\/strong>Pemerintah diminta tidak menahan stok beras yang ada saat ini. Sebaiknya stok beras digelontorkan ke masyarakat untuk memenuhi kebutuhan dan menstabilkan harga di pasar.<\/p>\n

“Untuk apa punya stok banyak tapi tidak didistribusikan, sama saja tidak ada di pasar,” kata Ketua Umum Perpadi, Sutarto Alimoeso dalam diskusi ketahanan pangan dengan tema “Mengurai Polemik Data Produksi Beras” di FEB UI Salemba, Jakarta, Kamis (22\/11\/2018).<\/p>\n

Menurut dia, saat ini harga besar di pasar kurang stabil. Sehingga stok beras yang dimiliki Bulog sebanyak 1,5 juta ton baiknya diturunkan ke pasar.<\/p>\n

“Kalau perlu diturunkan sebanyak 2 juta ton sampai akhir tahun ini,” ujar dia.<\/p>\n

Disisi lain dia menyaran, sebaiknya Bulog punya cadangan beras impor sebanyak 300 ribu ton tiap tahun. Hal inj tentunya demi keamanan pasokan.<\/p>\n

Dalam kesempatan sama, pengamat kebijakan beras Mohamad Ikhsan, mengatakan data yang menyebutkan Indonesia surplus beras adalah masih estimasi sehingga masih bisa berubah. “Data beras surplus 2,85 juta ton itu masih estimasi, sehingga besar kemungkinan bisa turun,” kata dosen FEB UI tersebut.<\/p>\n

Ia mengatakan pola pergerakan harga beras harus segera dipahami, untuk bisa antisipasi harga. “Orientasi pertanian ini harus diubah, sebab air semakin langka dan lahan semakin menyempit, jadi kinerja Bulog juga harus berubah,” kata dia.<\/p>\n
