SURABAYA, nawacita<\/a> – Musisi Ahmad Dhani dipastikan akan terjun total di dunia politik. Pentolan group band Dewa tersebut akan mencoba peruntungan sebagai calon anggota legislative (caleg) DPR RI dari\u00a0Dapil Jatim I (Surabaya-Sidoarjo) yang diberangkatkan oleh Partai Gerindra.<\/p>\n

Sekretaris DPD Gerindra Jatim Anwar Sadad mengatakan dengan mengusung Ahmad Dhani sebagai caleg Partai Gerindra untuk DPR RI diharapkan mampu menggaet anak muda di Jatim. \u201cPengaruh sosok Ahmad Dhani dikalangan anak muda tak akan hilang dimakan jaman. Sosoknya menguntungkan bagi Gerindra dalam menggaet pemilih muda di Pileg terlebih dalam Pilpres nanti khususnya di\u00a0\u00a0Jatim,\u201d sambungnya saat ditemui di Surabaya, Rabu (13\/7).<\/p>\n

Pria asal Pasuruan ini optimis dengan bergabungnya Ahmad Dhani akan memperkuat posisi Gerindra di parlemen DPR RI. \u201cSelama ini mas Dhani sangat kritis sehingga cocok dengan Gerindra yang selalu mengkritisi pemerintah yang kebijakannya tak pro rakyat,\u201d sambungnya.<\/p>\n
