Bukan hanya itu, penelitian terbaru bahkan menunjukkan tidur di akhir pekan selama 6-7 jam dapat menurunkan risiko kematian.<\/p>\n<p>Studi terbaru dari Stockholm University, Swedia ini menguji efek kurang tidur pada seseorang selama satu minggu dan akhir pekan yang berisiko dengan tingkat kematian\u00a0seseorang.<\/p>\n<p>Penelitian yang dipimpin oleh profesor Torbjorn Akerstedt itu mengumpulkan data dari sekitar 43 ribu partisipan selama lebih dari 13 tahun.<\/p>\n<p>Para peneliti menganalisis informasi kesehatan dan kebiasaan tidur partisipan dalam survei medis dan gaya hidup di Swedia yang telah dilakukan sejak 1997. Studi ini juga memperhitungkan faktor lain seperti merokok, meminum alkohol, konsumsi kopi, dan aktivitas fisik.<\/p>\n<p><center><\/center><br \/>\nHasilnya, penelitian yang diunggah di Wiley Online Library itu mengungkap bahwa tidur pada akhir pekan berpotensi melawan akibat kurang tidur seperti berkembangnya kanker, diabetes dan penyakit jantung.
