Pada awal pekan ini, rupiah terpantau tembus ke level Rp14 ribu per dolar Amerika Serikat (AS) dan masih betah di area tersebut hingga saat ini.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Pertanyaan yang terbesar adalah bagaimana menaikkan kembali permintaan akan rupiah,&#8221; ungkap Tito, Rabu (9\/5).<\/p>\n<p><center><\/center><br \/>\nMenurut Tito, permintaan rupiah bisa meningkat bila Bank Indonesia (BI) menaikkan suku bunga acuan. Pasalnya, saat ini The Fed dipandang akan lebih agresif untuk menaikkan suku bunga acuan.<\/p>\n<p>Namun begitu, kenaikan suku bunga acuan oleh BI sebenarnya tidak langsung memberikan sentimen positif bagi IHSG. Dengan kata lain, pelaku pasar modal tetap akan menunggu pergerakan nilai tukar rupiah.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Menurut saya kenaikan suku bunga oleh BI tidak akan lagi mempengaruhi pandangan orang mengenai saham,&#8221; jelas Tito.<\/p>\n<p>Kendati indeks terus melemah, Tito mengklaim beberapa saham emiten masih tumbuh, ditopang kinerja perusahaan yang masih terbilang prospektif sehingga tercermin dalam harga sahamnya.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Jadi pasar modal Indonesia masih didukung oleh perusahaan yang hasilnya bagus, portofolio bagus dan likuiditas yang menguat,&#8221; papar Tito.<\/p>\n<p>Sebagai informasi, IHSG pada perdagangan sesi I hari ini ditutup menguat 0,78 persen ke level 5.820.
