Artinya, kondisi ini diakui secara global sebagai masalah serius yang berkaitan dengan pekerjaan.<\/p>\n<p>Dokter di Harley of London, dr Yogesh Nain, menilai\u00a0<em>burnout<\/em>\u00a0telah mencapai tingkat yang dapat disebut sebagai epidemi diam-diam (<em>silent epidemic<\/em>). Menurutnya, kondisi ini tidak selalu tampak seperti penyakit fisik, tetapi memiliki dampak besar terhadap kesehatan dan kesejahteraan individu.<\/p>\n<div class=\"picked-article\"><\/div>\n<p>&#8220;Epidemi diam-diam ini telah menyebar di kalangan pekerja akibat kombinasi jadwal kerja yang padat, paparan teknologi digital yang berlebihan, serta tekanan terus-menerus untuk mencapai target dan mempertahankan performa,&#8221; kata dr Nain dilansir laman\u00a0<em>Hindustan Times<\/em>, Jumat (19\/6\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>la menjelaskan bahwa kehadiran ponsel pintar dan laptop membuat banyak profesional tetap terhubung dengan pekerjaan mereka bahkan setelah pulang ke rumah. Menurut dr\u00a0Nain,\u00a0<em>burnout<\/em>\u00a0jarang muncul secara tiba-tiba atau dengan gejala yang mencolok. Sebaliknya, kondisi ini berkembang perlahan dan memberikan sejumlah tanda peringatan din\u00ec yang sering kali diabaikan karena dianggap sebagai stres biasa.<\/p>\n<p>Gejala awal yang perlu diwaspadai antara lain rasa lelah yang terus-menerus meski sudah beristirahat, sulit berkonsentrasi, serta gangguan daya ingat atau mudah lupa. Selain itu, penderita juga dapat menjadi lebih mudah tersinggung, marah, dan mengalami perubahan suasana hati.\u00a0<em>Burnout<\/em>\u00a0juga kerap ditandai dengan menurunnya kinerja di tempat kerja, gangguan tidur, hingga sakit kepala yang terjadi berulang kali.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Gejala-gejala ini sering diabaikan sebagai stres biasa. Padahal mengabaikan gejala justru memperparah kondisi burnout,&#8221; kata dr\u00a0Nain.<\/p>\n<p>Selain memengaruhi\u00a0kesehatan mental\u00a0dan produktivitas,\u00a0<em>burnout<\/em>\u00a0juga dapat meningkatkan risiko berbagai masalah kesehatan dalam jangka panjang. Di antaranya mengambil jeda atau istirahat terstruktur selama bekerja untuk memulihkan fokus, lalu menerapkan disiplin digital dengan membatasi penggunaan perangkat dan layar di luar jam kerja.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Selain itu, pekerja juga bisa melakukan fisik secara rutin guna membantu menyeimbangkan hormon stres, dan memprioritaskan tidur berkualitas selama tujuh hingga delapan jam setiap malam,&#8221; kata dia.<\/p>\n<p>Dia menyebut\u00a0<em>burnout<\/em>\u00a0bukanlah bentuk kelemahan, melainkan kondisi medis yang memiliki dasar neurobiologis. Oleh karena itu,\u00a0<em>burnout<\/em>\u00a0perlu dikenali dan ditangani sejak dini sebagaimana penyakit kronis lain seperti diabetes dan hipertensi.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Burnout bukanlah kelemahan, melainkan kondisi medis yang berakar pada neurobiologi.
