Namun, temuan terbaru justru menunjukkan hal sebaliknya. Ini penjelasannya.<\/p>\n<p>Penelitian terbaru yang dilakukan oleh University of Bristol di Inggris dan University at Buffalo di Amerika Serikat mengungkap bahwa paparan visual terhadap makanan justru bisa membantu sebagian orang menahan keinginan makan berlebih.<\/p>\n<p>Dilansir dari Fox News, dalam studi yang dipublikasikan pada Maret di jurnal Computers in Human Behavior, peneliti melibatkan 840 partisipan berusia 19 hingga 77 tahun.<\/p>\n<p>Hasilnya cukup mengejutkan. Peserta yang sedang menjalani diet cenderung menghabiskan waktu sekitar 30% lebih lama untuk menonton konten video tentang makanan tinggi kalori dibandingkan mereka yang tidak diet. Efek jangka panjangnya terhadap keberhasilan diet belum dapat dipastikan.<\/p>\n<p>Hal serupa juga disampaikan oleh Lori Bohn, praktisi kesehatan mental dari California.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Motivasi sangat berperan dalam kesuksesan diet seseorang. Jika seseorang memang berniat diet, mereka bisa memanfaatkan rangsangan visual ini sebagai alat kontrol.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Namun, Bohn juga mengingatkan bahwa tidak semua orang akan merasakan manfaat yang sama.
