Keduanya sering digunakan untuk menggoreng, menumis, hingga membuat kue.<\/p>\n<p>Namun banyak pertanyaan dari penggunanya, terutama mereka yang peduli akan kesehatan. Antara kedua bahan tersebut, manakah yang lebih sehat?<\/p>\n<p>Dilansir dari laman Institut Pertanian Bogor, (27\/3\/2025), ahli gizi Profesor Muhammad Rizal Martua Damanik, menjelaskan perbedaannya. Perbedaan utama antara minyak dan mentega terletak pada komposisi lemaknya.<\/p>\n<p>Mentega umumnya berasal dari lemak hewani dan mengandung lemak jenuh yang cukup tinggi. Kondisi ini berpotensi memicu penyakit jantung dan gangguan pembuluh darah.<\/p>\n<p>Oleh karena itu, konsumsi mentega sebaiknya dibatasi, terutama bagi mereka yang memiliki risiko penyakit kardiovaskular. Sementara, minyak nabati seperti minyak zaitun atau minyak alpukat mengandung lemak tak jenuh yang dapat membantu menjaga kesehatan jantung.<\/p>\n<p>Jenis lemak ini juga berperan dalam menurunkan kadar kolesterol jahat (LDL) serta mendukung fungsi otak. Beberapa jenis minyak, terutama yang tinggi lemak trans atau omega-6 berlebihan, justru dapat meningkatkan peradangan dalam tubuh.<\/p>\n<p>Jika dikonsumsi terus-menerus, kondisi ini bisa memicu berbagai penyakit kronis, termasuk kanker. Selain jenis lemak, jumlah konsumsi juga menjadi faktor penting.<\/p>\n<p>Baik minyak maupun mentega tetap merupakan sumber lemak yang tinggi kalori. Prof Rizal tetap menekankan pentingnya keseimbangan pola makan yang jauh harus diperhatikan.<\/p>\n<p>Tidak hanya fokus pada satu jenis bahan, tetapi juga memperhatikan keseluruhan asupan nutrisi harian.
