Menurut ahli gizi, pistachio pada dasarnya termasuk camilan sehat. Kacang ini kaya serat, lemak sehat, serta berbagai nutrisi yang mendukung kesehatan jantung dan membantu mengontrol nafsu makan.<\/p>\n<p>Melansir Daily Mail, dalam 30 gram atau segenggam kecil pistachio, mengandung sekitar 3 gram serat, 6 gram protein, dan lemak yang sebagian besar merupakan lemak tak jenuh.<\/p>\n<p>Serat dalam pistachio bermanfaat untuk pencernaan dan membantu menjaga keseimbangan bakteri baik di usus. Dari sekitar 13 gram lemak dalam satu porsi, hanya sebagian kecil yang merupakan lemak jenuh. Lemak tak jenuh ini berperan dalam menjaga kesehatan jantung jika dikonsumsi dalam porsi yang tepat.<\/p>\n<p>Dari sisi kalori, pistachio memang cukup tinggi energi. Satu porsi mengandung sekitar 160 kalori. Namun, karena kandungan protein dan seratnya, kacang ini cenderung lebih mengenyangkan dibandingkan camilan olahan lainnya. Bahkan, konsumsi kacang secara rutin, disebutkan dalam penelitian jangka panjang, tidak menyebabkan kenaikan berat badan.<\/p>\n<p>Selain itu, pistachio juga mengandung berbagai nutrisi penting seperti kalium, magnesium, fosfor, vitamin B6, dan vitamin E. Kandungan antioksidan seperti lutein, zeaxanthin, dan polifenol juga membantu melindungi sel tubuh dari stres oksidatif.<\/p>\n<p>Meski begitu, manfaat ini tidak selalu berlaku pada semua produk berbahan pistachio. Banyak produk kekinian seperti krim pistachio atau cokelat isi pistachio justru tinggi gula dan lemak jenuh.<\/p>\n<p>Dalam bentuk ini, pistachio lebih berperan sebagai perasa, bukan bahan utama yang menyehatkan.
