Punuk leher berupa tonjolan kecil biasanya terbentuk akibat penumpukan jaringan lemak di area antara leher dan punggung atas.<\/p>\n<p>Tak sedikit yang menghubungkannya dengan kebiasaan tidur dan penggunaan bantal, sehingga membuat tidur tanpa bantal sering dianggap untuk mengatasinya.<\/p>\n<p>Dokter spesialisasi Anestesiologi dan Manajemen Nyeri Intervensional yang berbasis di Maryland, Dr. Kunal Sood menjelaskan bahwa bantal bukan satu-satunya faktor penyebab punuk leher, karena itu, sekadar menyingkirkannya kemungkinan besar tidak akan menyelesaikan masalah.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_271138\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-271138\" style=\"width: 1000px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/nawacita.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/2654618.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-271138\" src=\"https:\/\/nawacita.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/2654618.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1000\" height=\"667\" srcset=\"https:\/\/nawacita.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/2654618.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/nawacita.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/2654618-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/nawacita.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/2654618-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/nawacita.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/2654618-630x420.jpg 630w, https:\/\/nawacita.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/2654618-696x464.jpg 696w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-271138\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Bantal Bukan Satu-satunya Penyebab Punuk Leher, Ini Penjelasannya.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Menurut Dr. Sood, benjolan kecil di pangkal leher merupakan hasil dari sejumlah faktor, di antaranya postur tubuh, ketidakseimbangan otot, dan keselarasan tulang belakang, selain kebiasaan tidur.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDalam banyak kasus, kondisi ini berkaitan dengan postur kepala maju ke depan, di mana kepala berada di depan bahu dalam waktu lama sepanjang hari,\u201d ujar dia.<\/p>\n<p>Meski bantal merupakan faktor penting, perannya tidak selalu seperti yang dibayangkan orang. Bantal yang terlalu tebal dapat mendorong kepala ke depan ke posisi fleksi. Sebaliknya, jika bantal terlalu tipis atau tidak digunakan sama sekali saat tidur, leher bisa jatuh ke posisi ekstensi.<\/p>\n<p>Kedua kondisi ekstrem ini mengganggu lengkungan alami tulang belakang leher (servikal) dan meningkatkan ketegangan pada leher serta punggung atas sepanjang malam. Tujuannya adalah keselarasan netral. Kepala, leher, dan tulang belakang harus tetap berada dalam satu garis lurus yang didukung, baik saat tidur telentang maupun miring. Tidak ada satu bantal yang sempurna.
