Banyak yang bertanya-tanya mengapa varian ini seolah begitu agresif dan cepat menulari banyak orang dalam waktu singkat.<\/p>\n<p>Menanggapi fenomena tersebut, dokter spesialis paru dari RS Paru Persahabatan, Prof dr Agus Dwi Susanto, SpP(K), menjelaskan bahwa Subclade K sebenarnya merupakan mutasi dari virus yang sudah ada sebelumnya. Namun, mutasi ini memberikan karakteristik yang berbeda dari flu pada umumnya.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Pada dasarnya influenza Subclade K ini masih jenis influenza musiman yaitu jenis Influenza A (H3N2), hanya mengalami mutasi sehingga memiliki bbrp sifat yg berbeda dengan influenza musiman pada umumnya,&#8221; ujar Prof Agus.<\/p>\n<p>Lebih lanjut, dia mengungkapkan bahwa kemampuan varian ini dalam menyebar secara luas dipengaruhi oleh faktor biologis virus yang jauh lebih agresif saat menginfeksi manusia.
