Mendikdasmen Perkuat Perlindungan Hukum Guru Lewat Mekanisme Restorative Justice<\/h1>\n

Jakarta, Nawacita<\/a><\/strong> | Menteri Pendidikan Dasar dan Menengah (Mendikdasmen) Abdul Mu’ti mengatakan pemerintah akan memperkuat perlindungan hukum bagi para guru.
\nSalah satu langkah strategis yang sudah berjalan adalah penerapan penyelesaian masalah melalui mekanisme restorative justice (RJ), bukan jalur hukum pidana.<\/p>\n

“Persoalan-persoalan yang menyangkut pendidikan dan kedisiplinan diselesaikan dengan damai melalui restorative justice, tidak sebagaimana sekarang-sekarang ini yang membuat banyak guru harus berurusan dengan hukum,” kata Abdul Mu’ti di Surabaya, Selasa (25\/11\/2025).<\/p>\n

Menurutnya, banyak guru yang terjerat hukum karena permasalahan yang seharusnya dapat diselesaikan secara damai.<\/p>\n

Untuk itu, Kemendikdasmen telah menandatangani nota kesepahaman (MoU) dengan Kapolri mengenai penanganan perkara yang berkaitan dengan pendidikan dan kedisiplinan di sekolah. Dia menyatakan MoU tersebut sudah berlaku.<\/p>\n

“Sudah kami tanda tangani cukup lama dengan Pak Kapolri. Jadi, program RJ untuk guru pada dasarnya sudah berjalan,” jelasnya.<\/p>\n

Ke depan, pemerintah akan melakukan sosialisasi lebih luas kepada jajaran kepolisian dan seluruh sekolah di Indonesia. Tujuannya, agar masyarakat memahami persoalan pendidikan tidak selalu perlu dibawa ke ranah hukum, terutama jika masih dapat diselesaikan dengan pendekatan persuasif dan kekeluargaan.<\/p>\n

“Kami ingin guru tenang dalam mengajar, fokus mendidik. Dengan demikian, guru dapat memberikan dedikasi dan dharma bakti terbaik untuk mencerdaskan bangsa,” tuturnya.<\/p>\n

Dia juga mengajak masyarakat untuk membangun kembali budaya saling percaya dan menghormati peran guru.<\/p>\n
