Anjuran ini bertujuan untuk menjaga tingkat kebisingan yang dihasilkan oleh\u00a0<em>earphone,<\/em>\u00a0<em>headphone<\/em>, dan sejenisnya\u00a0agar tidak terlalu tinggi.<\/p>\n<p>Volume yang berlebihan dapat merusak sel-sel rambut di koklea (rumah siput) telinga bagian dalam. Sel-sel rambut ini sangat vital dalam proses pendengaran dan kerusakannya bersifat permanen. Menjaga volume di bawah 60 persen membantu meminimalkan risiko kerusakan tersebut, memungkinkan sel-sel rambut berfungsi optimal lebih lama.<\/p>\n<div id=\"bn_qcbokvxbcj\" data-data-w=\"0\">\n<div id=\"bn_djCAsWYg9c\" data-i=\"0\" data-data-w=\"542\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Sementara itu, batas waktu 60 menit dalam sehari bertujuan untuk memberikan waktu istirahat bagi telinga. Paparan suara yang berlebihan, bahkan pada tingkat volume yang moderat, dapat menyebabkan kerusakan pendengaran seiring waktu. Telinga, seperti organ tubuh lainnya, membutuhkan waktu untuk &#8220;pulih&#8221; dari paparan suara. Memberikan jeda yang cukup mencegah kelelahan sel-sel pendengaran dan mengurangi akumulasi kerusakan.<\/p>\n<p>Selain menerapkan aturan 60-60, dr Luthfi juga menekankan pentingnya\u00a0perlindungan telinga\u00a0di lingkungan bising. Dokter di Rumah Sakit Proklamasi Jakarta ini juga menyarankan untuk menjaga kebersihan telinga secara berkala. Namun, ia memberikan peringatan keras agar jangan dikorek secara berlebihan dan tidak menggunakan obat tanpa pengawasan dokter.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Jaga kebersihan dan higienitas telinga tapi tidak dikorek-korek berlebihan, hindari obat atau toksik yang sifatnya tanpa pengawasan medis, atau obat-obat yang memang seharusnya diresepkan dan diawasi penggunaannya,&#8221; kata Luthfi.<\/p>\n<p>Kebiasaan mengorek telinga dengan cotton bud atau benda lain justru bisa mendorong kotoran lebih dalam dan melukai gendang telinga. Dia juga menganjurkan untuk menjadwalkan kunjungan ke dokter spesialis telinga, hidung, dan tenggorokan (THT) apabila diperlukan.
