Kalau untuk\u00a0<em>newborn<\/em> sampai sekitar 3 bulan biasanya itu kebanyakan masih fase REM (Rapid Eye Movement) justru,&#8221; kata dr Yuni Astria dalam diskusi mengenai tidur anak, di Jakarta, Kamis (15\/5\/2025).<\/p>\n<div class=\"picked-article\"><\/div>\n<p>Ia menyampaikan seiring bertambahnya usia, proporsi tidur fase non-REM (non-Rapid Eye Movement) mulai meningkat, dan akan lebih dominan saat anak memasuki usia 3 tahun ke atas. Kemudian, pada anak 6 sampai 11 tahun\u00a0durasi tidur\u00a0yang disarankan sekitar 10 hingga 11 jam per hari.<\/p>\n<div id=\"bn_vl177esoc\" data-data-w=\"0\">\n<div id=\"bn_djCAsWYg9c\" data-i=\"0\" data-data-w=\"542\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p class=\"b2\">Ia menjelaskan\u00a0tidur siang\u00a0dan malam memiliki perbedaan fungsi. Pada malam ditujukan untuk restorasi sel memori, restorasi sel tubuh, daya tahan tubuh, metabolisme, fungsi kognitif dan hormon pertumbuhan, hal itu dihasilkannya pada fase tidur dalam (<em>deep sleep<\/em>).<\/p>\n<p>Sementara, pada tidur siang, lebih ke arah anak untuk mengistirahatkan dirinya dari kelelahan dan membantu memenuhi total kebutuhan harian. &#8220;Kalau misalkan semalam dia tidurnya sampai perlu 11 jam, mungkin kalau anak 6-11 tahun rasanya gak sekolah jadinya gitu, jadi dia perlu untuk membayar utangnya di tidur siang, itu adalah\u00a0<em>range<\/em>\u00a0ya. Nanti kalau sudah makin besar kebutuhan tidurnya makin sedikit, lebih rendah. Namun, itu tidak serta-merta menghambat pertumbuhan anak.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Kalau memang pun ternyata terbangun di saat malam karena sakit, itu tidak setiap hari harusnya masih bisa ditolerir tidak akan mengganggu gangguan pertumbuhan.
