Nawacita<\/a> – <\/strong>Merebaknya wabah Human Metapneumovirus (HMPV) yang saat ini merebak di China, mengakibatkan Pemerintah Kota (Pemkot) Surabaya untuk turut mewaspadai penyebaran HMPV di Kota Surabaya.<\/p>\nWalikota Surabaya, Eri Cahyadi pun menggelar istigasah di lantai 2 Balai Kota selama dua hari terakhir (6-7 Januari 2025) sebagai bentuk wujud memohon perlindungan agar Surabaya terhindar dari wabah penyakit.<\/p>\n
“Karena itu, kenapa teman-teman (Pemkot Surabaya) sekarang saya ajak istigasah, salah satunya untuk mengurangi bala dan menghilangkan\u00a0 penyakit,” kata Walikota Eri usai istigasah di Balai Kota Surabaya.<\/p>\n
Pemkot Surabaya sendiri berkoordinasi dengan berbagai pihak, diantaranya dengan Pemerintah Provinsi (Pemprov) Jawa Timur dan instansi terkait mengenai pengawasan dan pemeriksaan kesehatan di pelabuhan maupun bandara.<\/p>\n
Langkah antisipasi diperlukan agar tidak lagi terjadinya wabah seperti ketika covid-19 yang terjadi pada saat pandemi lalu.<\/p>\n
“Di setiap (pintu) masuk itu ada pemeriksaan kesehatan, terutama yang dari China. Sehingga saya berharap, dengan pemeriksaan kesehatan maka Insyaallah Surabaya masih bisa terjaga,” ucapnya.<\/p>\n
Pengawasan dan pemeriksaan kesehatan di pintu masuk di Surabaya dianggap sebagai langkah awal pencegahan yang diperlukan dalam mencegah penyebaran wabah HMPV.<\/p>\n
“Karena itu saya berharap untuk (pintu) masuk yang ke Indonesia, khususnya di Surabaya, pemeriksaan kesehatannya benar-benar diperkuat,” ungkapnya.<\/p>\n
Walikota Eri memastikan hingga saat ini belum ditemukan laporan kasus HMPV di Kota Surabaya. Namun, pihaknya tetap melakukan pemantauan melalui Dinas Kesehatan (Dinkes) Surabaya.<\/p>\n
“Mohon doanya, semoga Surabaya tetap aman. Karena sampai hari ini belum ada laporan terkait penyakit itu (HMPV) di Surabaya,” pungkasnya.
