Perluas Area Hutan Kota, DLH Sumenep Tanam 1.500 Bibit Pohon di TPA Torbeng<\/h1>\n

Sumenep, Nawacita<\/a><\/strong> | Dinas Lingkungan Hidup (DLH) Sumenep melaksanakan kegiatan penanaman pohon di kawasan hutan kota TPA Torbeng, Batuan, Sumenep.<\/p>\n

DLH Sumenep menanam 1.500 pohon tanaman keras, seperti bibit Mahoni, Akasia, Tapebuya, Sukun dan Asem.<\/p>\n

“Kalau kita kemarin nanam bunga-bunga sebanyak 500 pohon, sekarang kita tanam 1.500 pohon tanaman keras, ” ucap Kepala DLH Sumenep, Arif Susanto, Kamis, 28 November 2024.<\/p>\n

Arif menjelaskan, penghijauan ini dalam rangka mereduksi potensi banjir yang kemungkinan mengalir dari hutan kota.<\/p>\n

“Jadi harapan kami dengan adanya hutan-hutan di TPA itu bisa menyerap air, sehingga mengurangi banjir,” sambungnya.<\/p>\n

Selain mengurangi risiko banjir, lanjut Arif, pihaknya juga merancang perluasan area hutan kota lewat aksi penghijauan.<\/p>\n

“Kita tanam di TPA sebagai perluasan hutan-hutan kita,” tambahnya.<\/p>\n

Lebih lanjut, Arif berkomitmen mengampanyekan penghijauan sebagai langkah menjaga kelestarian lingkungan, utamanya di kawasan perkotaan.<\/p>\n

“Kita akan tambah lagi tanaman-tanaman lagi,” tandasnya.<\/p>\n
