Daftar Obat Herbal Perusak Jantung dan Ginjal yang Dirilis BPOM<\/h1>\n

JAKARTA, Nawacita<\/a><\/strong> – Daftar Obat Herbal Perusak Jantung dan Ginjal, Badan Pengawas Obat dan Makanan (BPOM) merilis daftar produk obat herbal berbahaya yang mampu memicu kerusakan jantung hingga gagal ginjal, Senin (7\/10\/2024) kemarin. Menurut BPOM, sebagian besar produk tersebut beredar di Bandung hingga Depok, Jawa Barat.<\/p>\n

Kepala BPOM, Taruna Ikrar mengungkapkan bahwa temuan 10 produk berbahan alam yang berisiko memicu kerusakan jantung hingga gagal ginjal itu bersamaan dengan penindakan sembilan perkara di Jawa Barat. Menurut Taruna, obat-obatan berbahan herbal tersebut memiliki kandungan yang dilarang tanpa di bawah pengawasan dokter.<\/p>\n

Secara rinci, produk herbal tersebut mengandung bahan kimia obat (BKO)\u00a0sildenafil, fenilbutazon, metampiron, piroksikam, parasetamol, hingga deksametason. BKO tersebut ini dilarang terkandung dalam obat berbahan herbal karena wajib diberikan di bawah pengawasan dokter.<\/p>\n

Jika dikonsumsi dalam jumlah dosis yang lebih tinggi, seseorang bisa mengalami risiko fatal hingga kematian. Taruna menyebut, obat berbahan herbal yang berbahaya dan marak beredar di masyarakat banyak meliputi obat penambah gairah pria, hingga pereda asam urat.<\/p>\n

“Obat berbahan alam yang mengandung sildenafil, dijual dengan tujuan merangsang gairah laki-laki, kekuatan stamina, tetapi perlu diingat kalau kelebihan dosis, ini bisa fatal. Menyebabkan henti jantung,” jelas Taruna dalam konferensi pers, dikutip dari media, Selasa (9\/10\/2024).<\/p>\n

“Konsumsi obat bahan alam tanpa izin edar dan\/atau mengandung BKO sangat berisiko bagi kesehatan, bisa mengakibatkan kerusakan organ tubuh, seperti gagal ginjal, kerusakan hati, dan gangguan kesehatan lainnya bahkan kematian,” lanjutnya.<\/p>\n
