{"id":221451,"date":"2024-08-24T17:53:48","date_gmt":"2024-08-24T10:53:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nawacita.co\/?p=221451"},"modified":"2024-08-24T17:25:01","modified_gmt":"2024-08-24T10:25:01","slug":"bmkg-sampaikan-potensi-ancaman-gempa","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nawacita.co\/index.php\/2024\/08\/24\/bmkg-sampaikan-potensi-ancaman-gempa\/","title":{"rendered":"BMKG Sampaikan Potensi Ancaman Gempa Megathrust di Indonesia"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>BMKG Sampaikan Potensi Ancaman Gempa Megathrust di Indonesia<\/h1>\n<p><strong>JAKARTA, <a href=\"https:\/\/nawacita.co\/\">Nawacita<\/a><\/strong> &#8211; BMKG Sampaikan Potensi Ancaman Gempa Megathrust, Badan Meteorologi, Klimatologi, dan Geofisika (BMKG) menyampaikan potensi Indonesia untuk dilanda gempa yang dahsyat mencuat ke publik.<\/p>\n<p>Sebelumnya, gempa besar melanda Jepang pada Kamis (8\/8\/2024) lalu membuat banyak orang kembali mengingat kejadian 2011 silam, di mana gempa dahsyat pernah meluluhlantakkan pesisir timur Pulau Honshu Jepang, tepatnya di pesisir Tohoku.<\/p>\n<p>Gempa tersebut mengingatkan kembali masyarakat Jepang akan peristiwa memilukan yang terjadi 13 tahun lalu, setelah adanya peringatan &#8216;<em>megaquake<\/em>&#8216; yang dikeluarkan oleh Badan Meteorologi Jepang (Japan Meteorological Agency\/JMA) setelah gempa berkekuatan 7,1 Skala Richter (SR) melanda Prefektur Miyazaki.<\/p>\n<p>Gempa besar megathrust Nankai itu ternyata sudah diprediksi oleh BMKG di Indonesia. Akhirnya, penumpukan regangan melebihi gesekan antara kedua lempeng dan gempa\u00a0<em>megathrust\u00a0<\/em>yang besar terjadi.<\/p>\n<p>Adapun contoh wilayah di luar Indonesia yang pernah dilanda gempa\u00a0<em>megathrust\u00a0<\/em>yakni gempa bumi Cascadia terakhir diperkirakan berkekuatan hingga 9 dan gempa bumi\u00a0<em>megathrust\u00a0<\/em>di Chili pada 1960 berkekuatan 9,5, dan gempa bumi di Alaska pada 1964 berkekuatan 9,2.<\/p>\n<p>Sedangkan di Indonesia sendiri, ada beberapa wilayah yang perlu diwaspadai, di mana BMKG saat ini tengah memantau wilayah tersebut karena ada potensi dilanda gempa yang cukup besar.<\/p>\n<p>Adapun wilayah tersebut yakni segmen Megathrust Mentawai-Suberut dan Megathrust Selat Sunda, di mana keduanya terakhir mengalami gempa lebih dari ratusan tahun lalu.<\/p>\n<p>Berdasarkan peta tersebut, sampai saat ini setidaknya ada 13 megathrust yang tersebar di Indonesia. Beberapa di antaranya mengalami pecah segmen hingga membentuk segmen yang baru, seperti Segmen Mentawai yang dibagi menjadi Segmen Mentawai-Siberut dan Segmen Mentawai-Pagai.<\/p>\n<p>Ada juga segmen Jawa yang dibagi menjadi tiga segmen, yakni segmen Selat Sunda-Banten, Segmen Jawa Barat, dan Segmen Jawa Tengah-Jawa Timur. Zona\u00a0<em>megathrust <\/em>bukanlah hal baru. Di Indonesia, zona sumber gempa ini sudah ada sejak jutaan tahun lalu saat terbentuknya rangkaian busur kepulauan Indonesia.<\/p>\n<p>Zona megathrust berada di zona subduksi aktif, seperti Subduksi Sunda mencakup Sumatra, Jawa, Bali, Lombok, dan Sumba, Subduksi Banda, Subduksi Lempeng Laut Maluku, Subduksi Sulawesi, Subduksi Lempeng Laut Filipina, dan subduksi Utara Papua.<\/p>\n<div Indonesia<\/h3>\n<p>Secara historis, Indonesia pernah mengalami gempa besar bahkan tembus 9 SR yang pernah terjadi di Aceh pada Desember 2004.<\/p>\n<p>Terjadi sebuah gempa dahsyat yang melanda Aceh. Gempa berkekuatan 9,3 SR ini menyebabkan serangkaian tsunami dahsyat di sepanjang daratan yang berbatasan langsung dengan Samudra Hindia. Aceh merupakan daerah yang terkena dampak paling parah selain Sri Lanka, Thailand, dan India.<\/p>\n<p>Banyak korban jiwa dalam bencana ini, bahkan sampai menyentuh pada angka 170.000 jiwa. Hal ini disampaikan oleh Kepala Pusat Gempa bumi dan Tsunami BMKG Daryono.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Hasil pemodelan tsunami oleh BMKG menunjukkan adanya status ancaman &#8216;waspada&#8217; dengan tinggi tsunami kurang dari setengah meter dan akhirnya terkonfirmasi, memang tsunami terjadi di Pantai Miyazaki Jepang dengan ketinggian 31 cm dan tidak merusak,&#8221; kata Daryono, dikutip dari rilis yang diterima media, Minggu (11\/8\/2024).<\/p>\n<p>Daryono mengatakan kekhawatiran ilmuwan Jepang terhadap Megathrust Nankai saat ini sama persis yang dirasakan dan dialami oleh ilmuwan Indonesia, khususnya terhadap Seismic Gap Megathrust Selat Sunda (M8,7) dan Megathrust Mentawai-Suberut (M8,9).<\/p>\n<p>Namun demikian masyarakat di Indonesia tidak perlu khawatir karena apa yang terjadi di Jepang dapat dipantau secara\u00a0<em>real time\u00a0<\/em>oleh BMKG.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Tak perlu khawatir karena kami dapat analisis dengan cepat termasuk memodelkan tsunami yang bakal terjadi dan dampaknya menggunakan system InaTEWS (Indonesia Tsunami Early Warning System), sehingga BMKG akan segera menyebarluaskan informasi gempabumi dan peringatan dini tsunami di seluruh wilayah Indonesia, khususnya wilayah Indonesia bagian utara,&#8221; ujar Daryono.<\/p>\n<p>Sebagai langkah antisipasi dan mitigasi, BMKG sudah menyiapkan<em>system monitoring<\/em>, prosesing dan diseminasi informasi gempa bumi dan peringatan dini tsunami yang semakin cepat dan akurat.<\/p>\n<p>Sejauh ini BMKG telah memberikan edukasi, pelatihan mitigasi,\u00a0<em>drill<\/em>, evakuasi, berbasis pemodelan tsunami kepada pemerintah daerah,<em>stakeholder<\/em>, masyarakat, pelaku usaha pariwisata pantai, industri pantai dan infrastruktur kritis (pelabuhan dan bandara pantai).<\/p>\n<p><strong>cnbnws.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>BMKG Sampaikan Potensi Ancaman Gempa Megathrust di Indonesia JAKARTA, Nawacita &#8211; BMKG Sampaikan Potensi Ancaman Gempa Megathrust, Badan Meteorologi, Klimatologi, dan Geofisika (BMKG) menyampaikan potensi Indonesia untuk dilanda gempa yang dahsyat mencuat ke publik.
