Presiden Jokowi Dianugerahi \u201cGrand Collar Order of the State of Palestine\u201d oleh Presiden Mahmoud Abbas<\/h1>\n

Jakarta, Nawacita<\/a><\/strong> | Presiden Jokowi menerima penghargaan tertinggi dari Pemerintah Palestina, \u201cGrand Collar Order of the State of Palestine\u201d, yang diserahkan oleh Utusan Khusus Presiden Palestina, Riyad Al Maliki, di Istana Merdeka, Jakarta, Senin, 19 Agustus 2024. Penghargaan ini diberikan sebagai bentuk pengakuan atas dukungan konsisten Indonesia terhadap perjuangan rakyat Palestina untuk kemerdekaan.<\/p>\n

Menteri Luar Negeri Retno Marsudi menjelaskan bahwa penghargaan tersebut disampaikan langsung oleh Utusan Khusus Presiden Mahmoud Abbas setelah pertemuan dengan Presiden Jokowi.<\/p>\n

\u201cUtusan Khusus menyampaikan penghargaan yang sangat tinggi dari Presiden Mahmoud Abbas kepada Presiden Republik Indonesia atas posisi Indonesia yang konsisten untuk mendukung perjuangan bangsa Palestina,\u201d ujar Retno.<\/p>\n

Selain memberikan penghargaan, Utusan Khusus juga menyampaikan ucapan selamat dari Presiden Abbas kepada Presiden Jokowi dan seluruh rakyat Indonesia atas peringatan Hari Kemerdekaan ke-79 Republik Indonesia. Presiden Mahmoud Abbas mengapresiasi peran penting Indonesia dalam mendukung rakyat Palestina, termasuk advokasi Indonesia untuk gencatan senjata, bantuan kemanusiaan, dan solusi dua negara.<\/p>\n

\u201cBapak Presiden (Jokowi) antara lain menyampaikan kejelasan mengenai posisi Indonesia yang konsisten untuk terus mendukung perjuangan bangsa Palestina. Indonesia juga akan terus menyuarakan gencatan senjata, bantuan kemanusiaan yang tanpa terkendala, dan tentunya solusi dua negara,\u201d jelas Retno.<\/p>\n

Dalam pertemuan tersebut, Presiden Jokowi jug menegaskan kembali posisi Indonesia yang akan terus mendukung perjuangan bangsa Palestina, serta komitmen untuk memperjuangkan pengakuan internasional dan keanggotaan penuh Palestina di PBB.<\/p>\n

\u201cIndonesia juga akan terus melakukan pendekatan kepada negara-negara anggota PBB agar mengakui Palestina dan mendukung keanggotaan penuh Palestina di PBB,\u201d tambah Retno.<\/p>\n

Saat menyampaikan penghargaan, Riyad Al Maliki, Penasihat Khusus Presiden Palestina, menegaskan bahwa penghargaan ini diberikan sebagai bentuk penghormatan atas upaya Presiden Jokowi dalam memperkuat hubungan antara Indonesia dan Palestina serta dalam mendukung perjuangan rakyat Palestina untuk kebebasan dan kemerdekaan.<\/p>\n

Penyerahan penghargaan ini menegaskan eratnya hubungan diplomatik antara Indonesia dan Palestina, serta komitmen Indonesia dalam mendukung hak-hak Palestina di panggung internasional.<\/p>\n

Turut mendampingi Presiden pada pertemuan tersebut yakni Menteri Luar Negeri Retno Marsudi, Menteri Sekretaris Negara Pratikno, dan Sekretaris Kabinet Pramono Anung.
