Ikhsan menyebut, di sisi lain, sayuran juga memiliki peran mengurangi kadar kolesterol khususnya bagi mereka yang sebelumnya belum mempunyai riwayat kolesterol tinggi, antara lain sayuran hijau, kacang-kacangan seperti kacang hijau, kacang merah, kacang kedelai, serta biji-bijian.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Perhatikan menu makanan setelah satu hari cheat on diet (melanggar diet). Kementerian Kesehatan merekomendasikan masyarakat setidaknya melakukan aktivitas fisik sebanyak 150 menit per minggu atau 30 menit per hari selama lima kali dalam sepekan.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Selain asupan serat dari sayur dan buah, perhatikan asupan garam agar tidak berlebihan (dalam sehari 2.300 mg atau 2 gram), jangan lupa berolahraga,&#8221; ujar Ihsan.<\/p>\n<p>Dia\u00a0menyebut pemeriksaan kolesterol total bisa dilakukan mandiri menggunakan alat dengan melakukan pengambilan darah sampel dari ujung jari. Sebelumnya, seseorang perlu berpuasa selama 10-12 jam.<\/p>\n<p>Sementara bagi masyarakat yang ingin mendapatkan hasil lengkap kolesterol perlu mendatangi laboratorium atau fasilitas kesehatan seperti puskesmas.
