Hal itu dikatakan oleh Dokter gizi dari Universitas Kristen Indonesia (UKI).<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Tentu merugikan kesehatan apabila sudah melampaui batas yang diizinkan,&#8221; kata Dr. dr. Louisa Ariantje Langi, MA., MSi. di Jakarta, Jumat (14\/6\/2024).<\/p>\n<p>Louisa menuturkan senyawa bromat menjadi lebih berbahaya karena terkandung langsung di dalam air kemasan yang dikonsumsi oleh masyarakat, sedangkan BPA merupakan senyawa yang ada di dalam kemasan pangan.<\/p>\n<p>Apabila kandungan bromat dikonsumsi melampaui batas yang diizinkan, maka akan mempengaruhi kesehatan orang tersebut. Dalam hal ini, dilakukan melalui penulisan seberapa besar kandungan bromat yang ada dalam tiap produk mereka.<\/p>\n<p>Maka dari itu, ia meminta Badan Pengawas Obat dan Makanan (BPOM) mengeluarkan regulasi terkait kandungan bromat pada label AMDK, dengan tujuan mempermudah masyarakat mendapatkan informasi jelas bahwa AMDK tersebut mengandung senyawa berbahaya dimaksud.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Baca Juga:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/nawacita.co\/index.php\/2023\/08\/03\/pakar-kandungan-bpa-pada-plastik-bisa-picu-gangguan-reproduksi\/\">Pakar: Kandungan BPA pada Plastik Bisa Picu Gangguan Reproduksi<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Sehingga masyarakat tidak dibodohi bahwa suatu produk ini aman atau tidak dan kalau melebihi batas seharusnya tidak boleh beredar,&#8221; katanya.<\/p>\n<p>Peneliti Pusat Riset Sumberdaya Geologi Badan Riset dan Inovasi Nasional (BRIN) Dr. Rizka Maria menambahkan dalam sebuah penelitian, ditemukan bahwa bromat dapat menimbulkan gangguan sistem saraf pusat.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMisalnya hilangnya reflek dan kelelahan berlebihan, gangguan darah seperti anemia, mual, muntah, nyeri perut, diare, muntah darah dan pembengkakan paru,\u201d kata Rizka.<\/p>\n<p>Rizka mengungkapkan akumulasi bromat dapat memicu efek karsinogenik yang mulai terasa atau teramati setelah 10 hingga 20 tahun konsumsi.
