Para pakar memperingatkan ada sejumlah makanan yang banyak beredar dan identik dengan menu sehat, namun masuk kategori produk ultraproses.<\/p>\n<p>Makanan ultraproses adalah makanan yang telah diubah secara signifikan dari bentuk aslinya. Biasanya, makanan ultraproses mengandung bahan-bahan seperti pengawet atau perasa buatan untuk meningkatkan umur simpan atau daya tariknya.<\/p>\n<p>Sejumlah studi menyebutkan bahwa konsumsi berlebihan kategori makanan tersebut berkaitan dengan serangan jantung dan strok. Berikut sejumlah makanan yang dianggap sehat tapi ternyata masuk kategori produk ultraproses, dikutip dari laman\u00a0<em>Daily Mail<\/em>, Jumat (1\/9\/2023):<\/p>\n<p><strong>1. Roti gandum<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Saat sedang terburu-buru, sebagian orang membeli roti gandum di supermarket dan menganggapnya santapan sehat. Padahal, secara teknis roti gandum yang dijual di supermarket merupakan makanan ultraproses. Kebanyakan mengandung zat tambahan, seperti pengemulsi dan pengawet.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2. Protein bar<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Banyak\u00a0protein bar\u00a0dipasarkan sebagai camilan sehat, padahal ini termasuk makanan ultraproses. Protein bar sering kali mengandung pengental, pengatur keasaman, dan pengawet sebagai bagian dari proses pembuatannya. Sereal<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Sarapan dengan\u00a0sereal\u00a0dan susu dianggap sehat oleh banyak orang, bahkan menjadi kebiasaan. Padahal, sereal termasuk produk ultraproses dan bisa memuat gula dan bahan tambahan lainnya yang kurang sehat. Tapi, ada juga sereal yang telah difortifikasi, termasuk dengan zat besi dan vitamin.<\/p>\n<p><strong>4. Yogurt<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Yogurt dianggap sebagai sumber protein yang sehat, baik untuk menjaga otot, dan kalsium, komponen penting untuk kesehatan tulang. Berbeda dengan\u00a0yogurt\u00a0alami yang sehat, banyak produk yogurt yang dijual di rak-rak toko termasuk dalam kategori ultraproses.<\/p>\n<p>Beberapa di antaranya mengandung bahan buatan yang dirancang untuk meningkatkan rasa dan warnanya, atau zat penstabil dan pengawet.
