Orang-orang yang sering\u00a0tertawa\u00a0cenderung memiliki tingkat peradangan jantung yang lebih rendah dan\u00a0kesehatan jantung\u00a0yang lebih baik.<\/p>\n<p>Manfaat tertawa bagi kesehatan jantung diungkapkan dalam sebuah studi yang telah dipresentasikan dalam pertemuan tahunan European Society of Cardiology di Amsterdam, Belanda. Studi ini melibatkan 26 orang partisipan dengan rerata usia 64 tahun. Seluruh partisipan terdiagnosis dengan penyakit jantung koroner.<\/p>\n<p>Selama studi, para partisipan dibagi ke dalam dua kelompok. Kelompok pertama diminta untuk menonton dua acara komedi di televisi berdurasi satu jam setiap pekan. Sedangkan kelompok kedua diminta untuk menonton dokumenter dengan topik yang serius seperti politik atau hutan hujan Amazon tiap pekan.<\/p>\n<p>Setelah 12 pekan, tim peneliti menemukan bahwa partisipan di kelompok pertama yang menonton tayangan komedi mengalami perbaikan kesehatan jantung yang signifikan. Tak hanya itu, penanda peradangan pada kelompok ini juga mengalami penurunan yang signifikan bila dibandingkan dengan kelompok kedua.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Peradangan memiliki peran besar dalam proses aterosklerosis, yaitu penumpukan plak di arteri,&#8221; ungkap ketua tim peneliti dari Hospital de Clinicas de Porto Alegre, Prof Marco Saffi, seperti dilansir\u00a0<em>The Guardian<\/em>\u00a0pada Rabu (30\/8\/2023).<\/p>\n<p>Prof Saffi mengungkapkan bahwa pasien penyakit jantung koroner yang datang ke rumah sakit memiliki banyak penanda peradangan. Studi ini, lanjut Prof Saffi, menunjukkan bahwa\u00a0terapi tertawa\u00a0bisa menjadi intervensi yang baik untuk pasien penyakit jantung.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;(Terapi tertawa merupakan intervensi yang baik) yang bisa membantu menurunkan peradangan serta mengurangi risiko serangan jantung dan strok,&#8221; tambah Prof Saffi, seperti dilansir <em>WebMD<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Menurut Prof Saffi, terapi tertawa bisa diimplementasikan pada institusi-institusi dan sistem layanan kesehatan. Terapi tertawa dapat ditujukan untuk pasien-pasien yang berisiko terhadap beragam masalah kesehatan jantung.<\/p>\n<p>Selain itu, Prof Saffi mengungkapkan bahwa terapi tertawa tidak harus dilakukan dengan menonton acara komedi di televisi. Keberadaan endorfin ini dapat membantu menurunkan peradangan dan membantu merelaksasi jantung serta pembuluh darah.<\/p>\n<p>Selain itu, tertawa dapat menurunkan kadar hormon stres.
