Hal itu dikatakan oleh Pakar penyakit dalam sekaligus Dekan Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Indonesia Prof Dr dr Ari Fahrial Syam, SpPD-KGEH.<\/p>\n<p>Kegiatan seperti mengobrol di udara terbuka tanpa masker pada kondisi polusi udara menjadi salah satu jalan polutan masuk ke sistem pencernaan, kata Guru Besar ilmu penyakit dalam Universitas Indonesia itu dalam webinar kesehatan di Jakarta, Kamis (24\/8\/2023).<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Sistem pencernaan tidak siap kalau menerima racun. Dia menyarankan orang-orang mengonsumsi makanan dari sumber alami seperti buah dan sayur ketimbang suplemen kesehatan.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Itu salah satu solusi karena buah dan sayur banyak mengandung antioksidan. Kalau kita sehat, tidak ada masalah pada lambung dan hipertensi, saya rasa kopi bisa jadi solusi. Kopi itu antioksidan. Teh juga begitu,&#8221; kata Ari.<\/p>\n<p>Ari kemudian menyoroti kasus kanker usus besar yang belakangan ini cenderung dialami orang berusia muda dan Indonesia termasuk negara yang disorot karena kecenderungan kasus pada usia muda.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Baca Juga:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/nawacita.co\/index.php\/2023\/08\/25\/7-manfaat-konsumsi-buah-pepino-yang-jarang-diketahui\/\">7 Manfaat Konsumsi Buah Pepino yang Jarang Diketahui<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Kondisi itu, sambung dia, kemungkinan terkait polusi udara atau mikrobiota usus sudah terganggu karena seringnya orang-orang tak sengaja mengonsumsi polutan-polutan melalui makanan.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Secara langsung ketika makanan mengandung polutan, pasien bisa jadi diare, dalam jangka panjang menyebabkan peradangan pada usus besar yang kemudian terjadi IBD (Inflammatory bowel disease) atau penyakit karena peradangan pada saluran pencernaan),&#8221; Ari menjelaskan.<\/p>\n<p>Menurut Ari, menjaga kesehatan lingkungan menjadi upaya yang harus dilakukan Pemerintah bersama masyarakat.
