Selain itu, menelan udara saat mengunyah atau menghisap permen, perubahan suhu yang tiba-tiba, hingga rasa gugup, terlalu bersemangat, atau stres juga dapat memicu cegukan.<\/p>\n<p>Cegukan umumnya hanya berlangsung dalam waktu singkat. Tenggak Air Putih<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Trik lain yang bisa dilakukan adalah menyeruput air putih selama 10 kali berturut-turut tanpa jeda. Dengan menelan air secara cepat, esofagus akan terdorong untuk berkontraksi dengan lebih teratur. Kondisi ini bisa membantu meredakan kontraksi di diafragma dan menghentikan cegukan, menurut\u00a0<em>Medical Daily<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2. Elus Leher<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Trik lain yang direkomendasikan Harvard Medical School adalah memberi stimulasi pada kulit yang menutupi area saraf tulang belakang di belakang leher. Stimulasi ini bisa diberikan dengan cara mengelus atau menepuk bagian belakang leher.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3. Makan Gula<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Menelan gula satu sendok makan penuh juga bisa membantu meredakan cegukan, menurut studi dalam\u00a0<em>New England Journal of Medicine<\/em>. Studi ini mengungkapkan bahwa tekstur bulir-bulir gula dan sensasi rasa manis yang muncul dapat menstimulasi saraf vagus. Stimulasi ini bisa mengganggu refleks cegukan, sehingga diafragma akan berhenti berkontraksi.<\/p>\n<p><strong>4. Tutup Mulut<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Tutup area hidung dan mulut dengan kedua tangan. Trik ini dinilai efektif karena dapat membantu orang yang cegukan untuk bernapas dengan lebih lancar sehingga cegukan bisa mereda.<\/p>\n<p><strong>7. Bernapas dengan Kantong Kertas<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Hirup dan hembuskan napas ke kantong kertas secara perlahan. Trik ini memberikan efek yang sama seperti bernapas dengan posisi kedua tangan menutup area mulut dan hidung.<\/p>\n<p>Cara ini bisa membuat diafragma berkontraksi lebih dalam untuk mendapatkan lebih banyak oksigen.
