Minuman energi terbaru Amerika bermerek Celsius terkena gugatan pada tahun lalu atas iklan palsu yang dibuatnya.<\/p>\n<p>Dalam iklan tersebut,\u00a0minuman tersebut mengeklaim tidak mengandung bahan pengawet apa pun. Faktanya, minuman itu mengandung asam sitrat atau salah satu bahan pengawet yang paling umum digunakan di dunia.<\/p>\n<p>Ada juga\u00a0minuman berenergi\u00a0merek Prime yang dibuat oleh Youtuber kontroversial Logan Paul. Banyak orang mungkin sudah tahu bahwa minuman berenergi dapat mengganggu tidur, menambah berat badan, bahkan meningkatkan tekanan darah. Tetapi bukti menyeluruh menunjukkan, itu juga dapat menyebabkan penyalahgunaan zat, masalah kesehatan mental, risiko diabetes yang lebih tinggi, kerusakan gigi, dan juga kerusakan ginjal.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHal-hal yang manis mungkin yang harus disalahkan,\u201d kata dia.<\/p>\n<p>Minuman energi biasanya mengandung\u00a0gula tambahan\u00a0dalam jumlah tinggi, sirup jagung fruktosa tinggi, dan pemanis buatan. Sementara para peneliti mencatat asupan moderat hingga 400 mg per hari untuk orang dewasa dianggap aman, implikasi kesehatannya bisa menjadi sedikit tidak pasti ketika Anda mulai berlebihan.<\/p>\n<p>Itulah salah satu alasan potensial mengapa minuman tersebut dikaitkan dengan kecemasan, depresi, bahkan pikiran untuk bunuh diri. Satu penelitian di Korea menunjukkan, ketergantungan kafein dapat memengaruhi suasana hati yang mudah tersinggung dan mengganggu tidur sehingga dikaitkan dengan stres dan gejala depresi.<\/p>\n<p>Mattei percaya kelebihan kafein ini juga dapat berperan dalam masalah kardiovaskular tertentu, seperti tekanan darah tinggi.
