Israel Serang Umat Kristen di Gereja Ortodoks Yerusalem Usai Sebelumnya Serang Umat Islam Al Aqsa<\/h1>\n

JAKARTA, Nawacita<\/a><\/strong> – Israel Serang Umat Kristen di Gereja Ortodoks Yerusalem, Pasukan Israel kembali menyerbu rumah ibadah di Yerusalem. Setelah sebelumnya menyerang tempat suci umat Islam Al Aqsa, kali ini pasukan Tel Aviv menyerbu sebuah gereja Ortodoks.<\/p>\n

Mengutip\u00a0Arab News<\/em>, penyerangan itu dilakukan akhir pekan saat umat Kristen Ortodoks merayakan Sabtu Suci. Dalam video yang diunggah, beberapa pendeta Ortodoks Koptik menjadi sasaran di depan gereja yang dinamakan Gereja Makam Suci itu.<\/p>\n

Pasukan Israel juga memblokir perayaan dengan penghalang jalan dan penghalang di gerbang Kota Tua. Mereka hanya mengizinkan sejumlah kecil orang Kristen dan mereka yang memiliki izin masuk untuk masuk.<\/p>\n

Atas serangan dan pembatasan ini, Kementerian Luar Negeri Palestina menggambarkannya sebagai ‘serangan terang-terangan terhadap kebebasan beribadah. Mereka mengutuk apa yang dikatakan sebagai ‘serangan mencolok terhadap status quo politik, sejarah dan hukum yang ada di Yerusalem yang diduduki dan kewajiban Israel sebagai rezim pendudukan di Yerusalem.’<\/p>\n

“Langkah-langkah ini melanggar hukum internasional, hukum humaniter internasional dan perjanjian yang ditandatangani,” katanya.<\/p>\n

Gereja-gereja mengatakan mereka akan menolak untuk bekerja sama dengan pembatasan polisi. Mereka memandang hal ini sebagai bagian dari upaya lama untuk mengusir komunitas Kristen setempat.<\/p>\n

Beberapa pemimpin gereja telah menyuarakan keprihatinan. Mereka gambarkan sebagai lingkungan impunitas dalam menghadapi meningkatnya tindakan kekerasan dan vandalisme yang menargetkan umat Kristen dan properti mereka di Yerusalem.<\/p>\n
