Hal tersebut terungkap lewat dua penelitian terkini.<\/p>\n<p>Temuan yang ada terbagi dalam dua bidang. Pertama, konsumsi mangga dikaitkan dengan kualitas diet yang lebih baik secara keseluruhan, sekaligus asupan nutrisi optimal bagi anak-anak maupun orang dewasa.<\/p>\n<p>Kedua, menyantap mangga sebagai camilan dapat meningkatkan kontrol glukosa dan mengurangi peradangan, berbeda dengan kudapan manis lainnya. Mewujudkan ini tak sulit sebab mangga dikonsumsi secara luas dalam masakan global.<\/p>\n<p>Studi pertama telah dipublikasikan di\u00a0<em>Nutrients<\/em>\u00a0pada Januari 2022. Peneliti menggunakan data United States National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) 2001-2018 untuk melacak diet dan asupan nutrisi mangga.<\/p>\n<p>Hasil studi menunjukkan bahwa anak-anak yang rutin\u00a0makan mangga\u00a0memiliki asupan vitamin A, C, dan B6 yang meningkatkan kekebalan tubuh. Asupan nutrisi penting lain yakni serat dan kalium.<\/p>\n<p>Pada orang dewasa, hasilnya serupa, yakni\u00a0konsumsi mangga\u00a0dikaitkan dengan asupan serat dan kalium harian yang jauh lebih besar. Begitu juga vitamin A, B12, C, E, serta folat.<\/p>\n<p>Baik untuk anak maupun orang dewasa, rutin mengonsumsi mangga dikaitkan dengan pengurangan asupan natrium dan gula. Manfaat lain bagi orang dewasa termasuk penurunan kadar kolesterol.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Penting juga bahwa mangga cocok dengan banyak masakan. Buah-buahan utuh kurang dikonsumsi, dan mangga dapat mendorong konsumsi buah terutama di antara populasi yang semakin beragam,&#8221; kata penulis studi, Yanni Papanikolaou, dikutip dari laman <em>Eurasia Review<\/em>, Senin (7\/3\/2022).<\/p>\n<p>Studi percontohan terpisah juga telah terbit di jurnal\u00a0<em>Nutrition, Metabolism &amp; Cardiovascular Diseases<\/em>\u00a0pada 2022. Riset membandingkan kondisi orang yang menyantap camilan mangga dengan camilan kontrol.<\/p>\n<p>Mengemil 100 kalori mangga segar setiap hari dikomparasikan dengan kue rendah lemak yang kalorinya setara.
