Melakoni\u00a0joging\u00a0intensitas sedang selama 10 menit meningkatkan aktivitas di wilayah otak yang bertanggung jawab untuk pengaturan suasana hati dan fungsi eksekutif.<\/p>\n<p>Fungsi eksekutif otak memungkinkan seseorang untuk menetapkan, merencanakan dan menyelesaikan suatu tujuan. Kemampuan kognitif ini penting untuk kehidupan seseorang secara keseluruhan, dan aktivitas fisik dapat mendukungnya.<\/p>\n<p>Joging membuat seluruh tubuh bergerak, sehingga lebih efisien daripada bersepeda yang mengandalkan gerakan kaki. Penyebab joging meningkatkan suasana hati dan fungsi eksekutif yakni karena peningkatan aliran darah ke wilayah utama otak.<\/p>\n<p>Aktivitas joging sedang selama 10 menit ditemukan menghasilkan pengurangan waktu respons yang signifikan dalam Tes Kata Warna Stroop. Kinerja korteks prefrontal bilateral meningkat secara signifikan dan peserta mengalami peningkatan suasana hati.<\/p>\n<p>Penulis studi, Profesor Hideaki Soya, menganggap tidak mengejutkan lari santai punya efek demikian. Hal itu mengingat tingkat kontrol eksekutif yang diperlukan dalam mengoordinasikan keseimbangan, gerakan, dan daya dorong selama berlari.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Adalah logis bahwa akan ada peningkatan aktivasi saraf di korteks prefrontal dan bahwa fungsi lain di wilayah ini akan mendapat manfaat dari peningkatan sumber daya otak ini,&#8221; kata Soya, dikutip dari laman\u00a0<em>New Atlas<\/em>, Rabu (8\/12).<\/p>\n<p>Sebelumnya, ada beberapa penelitian menarik yang mengungkap berbagai manfaat dari olahraga terhadap aktivitas otak.
