Praktisi Nutrisi Dr. Raissa Edwina Djuanda mengungkapkan penelitian menyebut mengonsumsi ikan satu kali per pekan memiliki risiko 15 persen lebih rendah terkena kematian akibat penyakit kardiovaskuler (CVD) daripada mereka yang tidak mengonsumsi ikan.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Coba itu sekali seminggu\u00a0makan ikan\u00a0saja sudah mengurangi risiko kematian akibat CVD,&#8221; kata Raissa Edwina Djuanda dalam rilis Kementerian Kelautan dan Perikanan (KKP) di Jakarta, Jumat (12\/11).<\/p>\n<div class=\"picked-article\">\n<p>Hasil riset lainnya menyebutkan bahwa konsumsi makanan laut yang cukup di masa kanak-kanak telah terbukti membantu perkembangan saraf, kognitif dan visual. Alumnus kedokteran Universitas Indonesia ini mencontohkan ikan-ikan yang memiliki kandungan gizi dan manfaatnya bagi kesehatan.<\/p>\n<p>Misalnya, ikan tuna yang sebagian besar lemaknya omega 3 dan mampu menyehatkan jantung, mencegah anemia, menjaga kesehatan tulang dan menyehatkan mata. Kemudian ikan teri dengan kandungan omega 3 dan selenium, membantu menurunkan kolesterol dan trigliserid serta meningkatkan imun.<\/p>\n<p>Lalu ikan kembung yang bisa mencegah asma dan diabetes. Ikan air tawar juga mengandung gizi dan bermanfaat bagi kesehatan, seperti ikan patin yang sangat cocok untuk pelaku diet dan meningkatkan sensitivitas insulin.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Lemak ini bagus, lemak yang sehat kaya akan omega 3 juga, jadi boleh dimakan.
