Jakarta, Nawacita – Coca-Cola Indonesia resmi mengumumkan peluncuran label kemasan bertulisan \u201cRecycle Me\u201d di setiap produknya. Hal ini dilakukan Coca-Cola untuk menghimbau para konsumennya agar mendaur ulang botol plastik PET dan kaleng bekas pakai setelah selesai dikonsumsi.<\/p>\n

Direktur Hubungan Masyarakat, Komunikasi dan Keberlanjutan PT Coca-Cola Indonesia, Triyono Prijosoesilo, menjelaskan bahwa jenis kemasan baru dari produk Coca-Cola yang berbahan dasar plastik PET dapat didaur ulang menjadi kemasan baru atau barang lainnya. Sebagai gerakan dari \u201cWorld Without Waste\u201d Coca-Cola menargetkan pencapaian\u00a0zero waste<\/em> pada tahun 2030 dengan melibatkan para konsumen.<\/p>\n

Pihaknya memastikan 100 persen kemasannya dapat didaur ulang pada tahun 2025 dan menggunakan setidaknya 50 persen bahan daur ulang dalam kemasannya pada tahun 2030.<\/p>\n

“Proses transisi menuju label kemasan baru ini diharapkan akan rampung hampir sepenuhnya pada akhir tahun,” ujar Triyono, dikutip Senin (8\/11).<\/p>\n

Coca-Cola juga berkolaborasi dengan\u00a0Waste4Change\u00a0dalam mendaur ulang produk. Nantinya, Waste4Change akan menjadi mitra yang mengumpulkan kemasan daur ulang.<\/p>\n

“Perusahaan besar bisa memainkan peranan penting dengan jangkauan konsumen, ini penting demi lingkungan dan membantu mengubah kebiasaan konsumen,” kata Direktur Pelaksana Waste4Change Mohamad Bijaksana Junerosano.<\/p>\n

Program \u201cRecycle Me\u201d adalah sebuah inisiatif yang berlangsung selama tiga bulan, mulai dari 28 Oktober hingga 31 Desember 2021.<\/p>\n
