Dengan terhubungnya dua sistem kelistrikan tersebut akan menghemat biaya operasi mencapai Rp 1,4 triliun serta menghentikan pengoperasian sebanyak 5\u00a0Pembangkit Listrik\u00a0Tenaga Diesel (PLTD) sebesar 65 megawatt (MW).<\/p>\n<p>Hal ini akan bermanfaat terhadap peningkatkan efisiensi penggunaan BBM sebesar 186 juta liter dan menekan emisi sebesar lebih dari 221 ribu ton CO2 pertahunnya. Terpenting, pasokan listrik di Bangka bakal semakin andal.<\/p>\n<p>Saat ini total daya mampu pembangkit di Bangka mencapai 187,7 megawatt (MW), dengan beban puncak 174,9 MW. Pulau Bangka akan mendapat tambahan pasokan listrik sekitar 109 MVA dari kabel listrik bawah laut sepanjang 36 kilometer sirkuit (kms) tersebut.&#8221;Untuk menghubungkan dua sistem kelistrikan ini, investasinya sekitar Rp 1,9 triliun,&#8221;ungkap Direktur Mega Proyek dan EBT, Wiluyo Kusdwiharto.<\/p>\n<p>Tak hanya meningkatkan keandalan, keberadaan kabel listrik tersebut akan memangkas biaya pokok produksi (BPP) di Bangka. Sebab listrik dari pembangkit-pembangkit berbiaya murah di Sumatera dapat disalurkan ke Pulau Bangka.<\/p>\n<p>Dari total kapasitas pembangkit 248 MW, saat ini pasokan listrik di Bangka masih didominasi pembangkit listrik tenaga diesel (PLTD). Dengan tersambung kabel laut, BPP Bangka bakal turun hingga 57 persen dari Rp 2.454 per kilowatt hour (kWh) menjadi Rp 1.054 per kWh.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Potensi penghematannya sekitar Rp 1,4 triliun per tahun,&#8221; terang Wiluyo.<\/p>\n<p>Wiluyo berharap dengan kian andalnya pasokan listrik nantinya bisa mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi Bangka dan meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat. &#8220;Dengan beroperasinya kabel laut Sumatera-Bangka, PLN juga bisa meningkatkan pelayanan terutama untuk mengakomodir permintaan pelanggan industri pada sektor perikanan&#8221; tutup Wiluyo.<\/p>\n<p>repblk<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>JAKARTA, Nawacita &#8212; PT PLN (persero) menargetkan sistem kelistrikan Sumatra dan Bangka bakal terhubung kabel listrik bawah laut pada Desember 2021.
