Terhindar dari Penyakit<\/h2>\n<p>Kegiatan berkebun di luar ruangan terutama pagi hari, secara tidak sadar membuat seseorang terpapar sinar matahari. Sinar matahari pagi memiliki manfaat baik bagi tubuh.<\/p>\n<p>Sinar matahari yang masuk ke dalam kulit akan diubah menjadi vitamin D oleh tubuh. Vitamin D berfungsi untuk menjaga sistem kekebalan tubuh dan memperkuat tulang.<\/p>\n<p>Selain itu, manfaat lain dari vitamin D juga membantu menurunkan risiko penyakit kanker payudara, prostat, kandung kemih, kolorektal, dan sklerosis ganda.<\/p>\n<p>Tapi perlu diingat, untuk mendapat kebaikan nutrisi vitamin D dari sinar matahari jangan dilakukan sengaja dengan berlama-lama di bawah sinar matahari.<\/p>\n<h2>2. Sarana Olahraga<\/h2>\n<p>Menurut Centers for Disease Control and Prevention(CDC), memiliki kebun di rumah ternyata bermanfaat sebagai tempat berolahraga. Hal ini menyangkut kegiatan berkebun yang melibatkan latihan kekuatan otot tubuh seperti menyapu, memotong rumput, sampai menggali tanah.<\/p>\n<p>Kegiatan tersebut merupakan salah satu bentuk olahraga ringan. Selain itu, aktivitas fisik berkebun juga membantu menyeimbangkan berat badan terutama bagi lanjut usia.<\/p>\n<p>Sedangkan, untuk anak-anak yang kelebihan berat badan, melakukan kegiatan berkebun juga mampu memperbaiki kualitas tidur menjadi lebih baik.<\/p>\n<h2>3. Mencegah Kepikunan bagi Lansia<\/h2>\n<p>Seiring bertambahnya usia, kemampuan otak untuk mengingat sedikit mengalami penurunan. Oleh sebab itu, berkebun merupakan salah satu sarana kegiatan yang bisa membantu meningkatkan fungsi kognitif di otak terutama bagi lansia.<\/p>\n<p>Peneliti di Korea membuktikan, aktivitas berkebun selama 20 menit pada penderita demensia, mampu meningkatkan pertumbuhan saraf otak terkait dengan memori baik.<\/p>\n<p>Bahkan, terapi hortikultura (berkebun) juga bisa meningkatkan kesehatan mental dan efektif sebagai metode pengobatan penderita demensia.<\/p>\n<h2>4. Meningkatkan Suasana Hati<\/h2>\n<p>Orang yang menghabiskan waktu dengan berkebun, terbukti memiliki tingkat depresi dan kecemasan rendah, menurut hasil penelitian di Amerika Serikat. Kegiatan menyiram tanaman di kebun juga memicu otak melepas hormon serotonin yang dapat meningkatkan suasana hati(mood booster).<\/p>\n<h2>5. Menghilangkan Stres atau Jenuh<\/h2>\n<p>Manfaat berkebun di rumah lainnya ialah mengusir rasa jenuh dan menghilangkan stres, terutama bagi seseorang yang pernah mengalami perasaan tertekan. Sebab, aktivitas berkebun ini memerlukan fokus dan mampu jadi pengalihan pikiran penyebab rasa tertekan tersebut.<\/p>\n<p>Manfaat berkebun di rumah memang banyak, akan tetapi perlu juga memperhatikan dari banyak aspek, supaya kegiatan bercocok tanam ini tetap aman.<\/p>\n<p>Misalnya, penting untuk memperhatikan dengan benar petunjuk penggunaan bahan kimia pada tanaman dengan menggunakan sarung tangan khusus, sepatu tertutup atau perlengkapan keselamatan.<\/p>\n<p>Sebelum berkebun juga jangan lupa untuk mengoleskan pelembab anti-serangga, supaya terhindar dari gigitan binatang dan perbanyak minum air putih serta istirahat.<\/p>\n<p>Terkadang, beberapa orang memaksakan tetap berkebun walaupun matahari sedang terik, dan melupakan istirahat sampai berakibat menurunnya kondisi tubuh.<\/p>\n<p>Selanjutnya bila berkebun dengan anak-anak, penting untuk memperhatikan pemakaian benda tajam atau penggunaan bahan kimia lain, supaya Anda pun tetap selamat ketika berkebun.<\/p>\n<p>cnn<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>1.
