Apalagi, jika penderitanya sedang menjalankan program\u00a0diet.<\/p>\n<p>Spesialis gizi klinik, dr. Feni Nugraha, MARS, M.Gizi, SpGK, mengungkap, ada satu buah yang sangat dianjurkan untuk penyandang diabetes, khususnya bagi mereka yang sedang menjalankan program diet, karena mengandung likopen. Buah apa yang dimaksud?<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Buah itu adalah tomat. Si tomat ini kaya akan vitamin dan mineral. Dan yang terpenting dalam tomat ternyata ada kandungan likopen,&#8221; ujarnya dalam tayangan\u00a0<em>Hidup Sehat\u00a0<\/em>di\u00a0<em>tvOne.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Dokter Feni menjelaskan, likopen ini merupakan senyawa yang sifatnya antioksidan yang baik sekali untuk diabetes. Di mana antioksidan ini dapat membantu menurunkan peradangan yang terjadi pada tubuh penderita diabetes.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Nah, likopen ini ternyata baik dan tinggi ketika si tomat diolah. Jadi, tomat ini harus direbus kurang lebih 15-20 menit sampai kulitnya agak kelupas sedikit. Nah, kandungan likopennya tingginya di situ,&#8221; tutur dia.<\/p>\n<p>Feni mengatakan, jika tomat ingin direbus cukup gunakan sedikit air. Sedangkan untuk aturan pakainya, Feni menyarankan untuk mengonsumsi tomat beserta air rebusannya. Apa alasannya?<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Karena ada vitamin larut air. Contohnya vitamin C dan D, yang ada pada tomat, dia bisa larut di dalam air. Jadi, lebih baik airnya ikut dikonsumsi juga,&#8221; kata dia.<\/p>\n<p>Jika dikonsumsi langsung, menurut Feni, vitamin dan mineral yang ada pada tomat memang bagus, tapi likopennya rendah. Berbeda jika kita merebusnya terlebih dahulu.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Kalau kita merebus memang vitamin mineralnya kalau dengan pemanasan pasti akan berkurang. Makanya kenapa disarankan dikonsumsi juga dengan air rebusannya, tapi likopennya tinggi,&#8221; kata dr.
